Taxonomy
Anomoeodus nursalli was named by Kriwet (1999). Its type specimen is IPFUB Uña Pyc 1, a partial skull, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Uña, which is in a Barremian alluvial fan limestone/lignite in the La Huérguina Formation of Spain.
