Polazzodus coronatus

Taxonomy
Polazzodus coronatus was named by Poyato-Ariza (2010). Its type specimen is MPCM 13464, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Polazzo site A, which is in a Coniacian/Santonian marine horizon in the Calcari di Monte San Michele Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Polazzodus.
