Edaphodon mirificus
Taxonomy
Edaphodon mirificus was named by Leidy (1856). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Inversand Company marl pit, Sewell (MFL), which is in a Maastrichtian/Paleocene shallow subtidal sandstone in the Hornerstown Formation of New Jersey.
