Sierraceratops turneri
Taxonomy
Sierraceratops turneri was named by Dalman et al. (2022). Its type specimen is NMMNH P-76870, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NMMNH L-3650, Elephant Butte (lower), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial mudstone in the Hall Lake Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Sierraceratops.
