Eochersis eiflaensis
Taxonomy
Eochersis eiflaensis was named by Karl (2018). Its type specimen is NMM / LS PW 1997/83-LS, a partial shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Eckfeld Maar (NHMM collection), which is in a MP 13 crater lake siltstone/shale in the Eifel Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Eochersis.
