Taxonomy
Paranchilophus remyi was named by Casanovas and Santafé (1989). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MNCN TV-14, a skull. It is the type species of Paranchilophus.

It was recombined as Anchilophus (Paranchilophus) remyi by Remy (2012).
