J. Gründel and A. Nützel 2012The shell is cylindrical and has a high last whorl and a low spire. The shell has a subsutural ramp. The transition from the ramp to the outer whorl face is rounded or sharply angular. The flanks are straight to slightly convex. There is no bordering spiral furrow. The shell is smooth. The growth lines are weakly prosocyrt between the abaxial edge of the ramp and the centre of the base. The aperture is very high and narrow with straight outer lip in its adapical portion. Its anterior part is broader and rounded. The columellar inner lip is broadened and bent backward (it covers the central part of the base) and bears one or two folds. The protoconch is unknown.
