Dipavali petri
Taxonomy
Paschatherium petri was named by Russell (1964). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.CR-142, a mandible (Left dentary fragment with M2 and alveoli for M1, M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cernay, which is in a Thanetian terrestrial horizon in the Conglomérat de Cernay Formation of France.
It was recombined as Dipavali petri by Van Valen (1978) and Hooker and Russell (2012).
