Cyonarctos dessei
Taxonomy
Cyonarctos dessei was named by de Bonis (2013). Its type specimen is PD 477, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pech Desse, which is in a MP 28 terrestrial horizon in France. It is the type species of Cyonarctos.
