Rotundomys montisrotundi

Taxonomy
Cricetodon montisrotundi was named by Schaub (1944). Its type specimen is NMB A Mo 849, a tooth (m1 inf. sin.), and it is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Rotundomys.

It was recombined as Rotundomys montisrotundi by Freudenthal et al. (1998) and Guerra-Merchán et al. (2001).
