Pullornipes aureus
Taxonomy
Pullornipes aureus was named by Lockley et al. (2006). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CU 212.21, 212.22, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Kangjiatun, "Golden Chicken" tracksite, which is in a Kimmeridgian/Valanginian terrestrial sandstone in the Tuchengzi Formation of China.
