Taxonomy
Euomphalopterus recticosta was named by Perner (1903) [Euomphalopterus? recticosta Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Kosov quarry locality (Dlouhá Hora), Kopanina Fm, which is in a Ludlow deep subtidal limestone in the Kopanina Formation of the Czech Republic.
