Paraprionosaurus wyomingensis
Taxonomy
Paraprionosaurus wyomingensis was named by Gilmore (1938). Its type specimen is USNM 12955, a maxilla (nearly complete left maxilla with 16 perfect teeth and space for 23 in total), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 2 miles north of Lone Tree Post Office (Bridger D), which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Paraprionosaurus.
