Squiresica knapptonensis

Taxonomy
Archivesica knapptonensis was named by Amano and Kiel (2007). Its type specimen is USNM 534954, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP 5843 - Knappton [Lincoln Creek Fm], which is in a Chattian deep-water limestone in the Lincoln Creek Formation of Washington.

It was recombined as Squiresica knapptonensis by Hybertsen et al. (2022) and Kiel et al. (2023).
