Plectronoceras cambria
Taxonomy
Cyrtoceras cambria was named by Walcott (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is C56. 25’ from top of Pagoda Hill, 1.6 km west of Jinan, which is in a Furongian carbonate limestone in the Chaomidian Formation of China. It is the type species of Plectronoceras.
It was recombined as Plectronoceras cambria by Ulrich and Foerste (1933).
