Elkania desiderata
Taxonomy
Obolella desiderata was named by Billings (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Point Levis. Graptolitic Slate, which is in a Cassinian marine slate in the Levis Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Elkania.
It was recombined as Billingsia desiderata by Ford (1886); it was recombined as Elkania desiderata by Ford (1886) and Williams et al. (2000).
