Taxonomy
Assiminea striatura was named by Bullis et al. (2020). Its type specimen is AMNH Bu1852, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (AMNH collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
