Taxonomy
Cedromus modicus was named by Korth et al. (2022). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UNSM 56406, a partial skull (right dentary with p4-m3). Its type locality is Channel Cut Site, which is in an Orellan/Whitneyan channel sandstone in the White River Formation of Wyoming.
