Taxonomy
Lorumformophyllum dentatum was named by Bose and Banerji (1984). It is not extant. Its type locality is Pur River Section, Trambau, which is in an Aptian/Albian fluvial-lacustrine shale/sandstone in the Bhuj Formation of India. It is the type species of Lorumformophyllum.
