Taxonomy
Lelstotheca striata was named by Maheshwari and Srivastava (1986). It is not extant. Its type locality is Sangramgarh Colliery, Raniganj Coalfield, which is in an Artinskian/Kungurian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Barakar Formation of India.
