Ramacia carpenteriana
Taxonomy
Ramacia carpenteriana was named by Oehler (1977). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CPC 16926, thin section 73426014A, coordinates 5.0x114.7 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MacArthur River Mine, borehole G20/25 WD, 53.2 m depth, which is in a Statherian basinal (siliciclastic) shale in the Barney Creek Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Ramacia.
