Palaeotanyrhina exophthalma
Taxonomy
Palaeotanyrhina exophthalma was named by Poinar et al. (2022). Its type specimen is Poinar He-4-39, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin Amber (Poinar collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Palaeotanyrhina.
