Taxonomy
Worthenia (Yochelsonospira) kuesi was named by Karapunar and Nützel (2022). Its type specimen is SNSB-BSPG 2020 LX 1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is OKD-14 Lake Holdenville, which is in a Desmoinesian marine shale in the Wetumka Formation of Oklahoma.
