Taxonomy
Wightia declivirostris was named by Martill et al. (2020). Its type specimen is IWCMS. 2020. 401, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yaverland bed 38, which is in a Barremian crevasse splay conglomerate in the Wessex Formation of the United Kingdom.
