Taxonomy
Glaphyrophlebia komia was named by Aristov et al. (2021). Its type specimen is PIN 1631/157, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Vorkuta Field, Borehole K-1143, Depth 258.8 m, which is in a Kungurian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Inta Formation of the Russian Federation.
