Mitrephora siwalika

Taxonomy
Mitrephora siwalika was named by Antal and Awasthi (1993). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow, BSIP 36910. Its type locality is Left bank of Ramthi River, Oodlabari, which is in a Miocene/Pliocene fluvial shale in India.
