Taxonomy
Anguillidarum semisphaeroides was named by Schwarzhans (2003). Its type specimen is MGUH 26049, an otolith, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vestre Gasværk, which is in a Selandian marine horizon in Denmark.
