Taxonomy
Muensterellina johnjagti was named by Fuchs et al. (2019). Its type specimen is NHMUK PI OR 1740 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chippenham, Christian Malford, which is in a Callovian offshore mudstone in the Oxford Clay Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Muensterellina.
