Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
G. A. Cooper et al. 1952This species is most strongly suggestive of A. colleni Walcott in its strongly concave brachial umbo and strongly pyramidal pedical valve. It differs from the Montana species, however, in having the umbral concavity covering a somewhat larger area of the posterior and in having a greater convexity of the median area. The pseudointerarea of the pedicle valve of the Mexican species is broader than that of A. colleni, the apex of the latter is narrower than that of A. concava. The anterior slope is more concave in the Montana species than in A. concava.
