Hydrargysaurus gladius
Taxonomy
Hydrargysaurus gladius was named by Wick and Shiller (2020). Its type specimen is TMM 45947-533, a mandible (medial left dentary fragment with teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TMM 45947, Adobe Wells Draw , which is in a Campanian estuary/bay sandstone in the Aguja Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Hydrargysaurus.
