Diluticupes applanatus
Taxonomy
Brochocoleus applanatus was named by Tan and Ren (2009). Its type specimen is NIGP 143729, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
It was recombined as Diluticupes applanatus by Kirejtshuk (2020).
