Oreosaurus minutus

Taxonomy
Oreosaurus minutus was named by Marsh (1872). Its type specimen is USNM 16530, an other (dentary (lost) and maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Henry's Fork, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

It was recombined as Xestops minutus by Marsh (1872), Hay (1902) and Hay (1930); it was considered a nomen dubium by Meszoely (1970).
