Taxonomy
Microenantiornis vulgaris was named by Wei and Li (2017). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PMOL-AB00171, a skeleton. Its type locality is Chaoyang City Yanornis type locality, which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
