Almas ukhaa
Taxonomy
Almas ukhaa was named by Pei et al. (2017). Its type specimen is IGM 100/1323, a partial skeleton (A skull and mandible and with partial articulated postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ukhaa Tolgod (general), which is in a Campanian eolian sandstone/mudstone in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Almas.
