Taxonomy
Glossites (Pharciglossites) rugatus was named by Guo (1985). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Geological Museum of China, IVy0035. Its type locality is Qujing, Yulongsi Fm, which is in a Pridoli carbonate horizon in the Yulongsi Formation of China. It is the type species of Glossites (Pharciglossites).
