Taxonomy
Aviculolima jaekeli was named by Philippi (1900). It is not extant. Its type locality is Rüdersdorf, near Berlin (Schaumkalk), which is in an Anisian marine horizon in the Jena Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Aviculolima.
