Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria (Entemnotrochus) baldwini was named by Hickman (1976) [originally desribed as Pleurotomaria (Entemnotrochus ?) siletzensis]. It is extant. Its type specimen is USNM 562078, a shell. Its type locality is Ellendale Basalt Quarry, which is in an Eocene marine horizon in the Siletz River Volcanics Formation of Oregon.
