Scopulipiscis saxciput
Taxonomy
Scopulipiscis saxciput was named by Latimer and Giles (2018). Its type specimen is PIMUZ A/I 3026, a skull (neurocranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Schesaplana Mountain, which is in a Rhaetian marine horizon in the Kössen Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Scopulipiscis.
