Saltirius utahensis
Taxonomy
Saltirius utahensis was named by Cook et al. (2014). Its type specimen is UMNH VP 19767, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Turtle Basin, which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial horizon in the "Brian Head" Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Saltirius.
