Bolithes was named by Malinky and Racheboeuf (2011) [Hyolithid having conch of small size with large apical angle; aperture orthogonal with distinct median indentation along dorsal edge and deep lateral sinuses; growth lines on shell faint to invisible]. It is not extant. Its type is Bolithes crasquinae.
