Titanophoneus adamanteus

Taxonomy
Doliosaurus adamanteus was named by Orlov (1958). Its type specimen is PIN 520/30, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Malyi Uran, Malaya Uran, PIN 520, which is in an Urzhumian/Severodvinian deltaic sandstone in the Amanakskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Doliosauriscus adamanteus by Battail and Surkov (2000); it was recombined as Titanophoneus adamanteus by Ivakhnenko (2003) and Kammerer (2011).
