Taxonomy
Eumedlicottia kabiensis was named by Zhou (2017). Its type specimen is NIGP 93693, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kabi, Ziyun County, which is in a Wordian basinal (siliciclastic) claystone in the Houziguan Formation of China.
