Kayentapus nananensis
Taxonomy
Chongqingpus nananensis was named by Yang and Yang (1987). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CFNY1, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Nan'an tracksite, which is in a Bajocian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Shaximiao Formation of China.
It was misspelled as Chongqingpus nanasensis by Gand et al. (2018), Xing et al. (2018), Xing et al. (2019) and Xing et al. (2021); it was recombined as Kayentapus nananensis by Lockley et al. (2013), Xing et al. (2013) and Li et al. (2021).
