Machaeroprosopus jablonskiae
Taxonomy
Pseudopalatus jablonskiae was named by Parker and Irmis (2006). Its type specimen is PEFO 31207, a partial skull (Posterior skull roof and braincase missing the rostrum and palate), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is PFV 295, near Mountain Lion Mesa, Petrified Forest National Park, which is in a Norian terrestrial mudstone in the Chinle Formation of Arizona.
It was recombined as Machaeroprosopus jablonskiae by Hungerbühler et al. (2013), Stocker and Butler (2013) and Parker et al. (2013).
