Notosyodon gusevi
Taxonomy
Notosyodon gusevi was named by Tchudinov (1968). Its type specimen is PIN No. 2505/1, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zhaksy-Kargala, PIN 2505, which is in an Urzhumian/Severodvinian terrestrial horizon in Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Notosyodon.
It was recombined as Syodon gusevi by Ivakhnenko (2003).
