Taxonomy
Praemichelinia lii was named by Niko (2005). Its type specimen is NSM PA15558 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Takauchi float blocks, Yakuno, Kyoto Prefecture, which is in a Wuchiapingian shallow subtidal limestone in the Nukata Formation of Japan.
