Taxonomy
Neograhamites transitorius was named by Henderson (1970). Its type specimen is Victoria University VC.163a,b, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is P04/f9598, Fergussen Pt, Whangaroa Harbour, which is in a Piripauan marine horizon in New Zealand.
