Taxonomy
Pseudoskirroceras laticostatum was named by Hillebrandt (2006). Its type specimen is TUB 711208/1/12, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Vaca Muerta, bed 2 (sample 711208/1), which is in a Jamesoni carbonate marl in Chile.
