Micromelerpeton credneri
Taxonomy
Branchiosaurus credneri was named by Bulman and Whittard (1926). Its type specimen is UMZC T.16 (formerly DMSW B.40, Watson 1963), a skeleton (Almost complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vineyards south of Odernheim am Glan, which is in an Autunian terrestrial limestone in the Meisenheim Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Micromelerpeton credneri by Watson (1963) and Schoch and Milner (2014).
