Hegaratites rheouisensis

Taxonomy
Hegaratites rheouisensis was named by Boughdiri et al. (1999). Its type specimen is FSL 338 793, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is RHS21, Jebel Rheouis, which is in a Tithonian carbonate limestone in the Sidi Kralif Formation of Tunisia. It is the type species of Hegaratites.
